The Living Bread: Why I Stopped Seeking and Started Resting in Christ

Open Bible on a rustic wooden table by a sunny window during morning study

The miraculous healing of the lame man at the Beautiful Gate in Acts 3 is more than a historical account; it is a profound testament to the enduring power of Jesus. As I have immersed myself in reading John, Ephesians, Romans, Philippians, Colossians, Galatians, and now Acts, I have begun to see the golden thread of God’s redemptive plan woven through time. The prophets did not just speak into a vacuum; they foretold a future that is still unfolding today. These scriptures have become my daily bread, a morning necessity without which my spirit feels incomplete. The peace, love, and joy found in studying the Word are often beyond articulation, echoing the promise in Philippians of a peace that surpasses all understanding.

When we look at our own lives or families and fail to see the immediate, dramatic miracles recorded in Acts, it is easy to let doubt creep in. However, I challenge you to examine the object of your faith: are you anchoring your soul in worry, anxiety, or the relentless noise of your own internal monologue, or are you placing it where it belongs—in the person of Jesus Christ? The name of Jesus remains just as powerful today as it was at the temple gate, and the capacity for His healing and transformation is not a relic of the past, but a present reality for those who believe.

This journey has led me to re-evaluate the sources where I previously sought comfort. While techniques like yoga nidra offer a form of non-sleep deep rest, I have found that true, soul-level restoration comes only from His invitation: "Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." Similarly, in exploring theories like the law of assumption, I have realized where such philosophies fall short. While there is much discussion today about the power of human imagination, I am finding that my imagination is not the source; God is the Creator, and I am His creation. My focus has shifted from manifesting through self-effort to resting in the sovereignty of the One who holds the stars and my own heart in His hands.

My desire is not to argue that one path is right and another is wrong, but to share the clarity that has come from finally letting Jesus in completely. As I bridge faith, science, and the wisdom of the ages, I am seeing that the Bible is not just a book to be read, but a living connection to the divine. When we stop trying to control our own narratives and instead surrender to the Author of life, we find a rest that no technique can provide. I invite you to join me in shifting your gaze from the internal struggle to the external, unchanging truth of Christ, where the peace you seek is not something you have to conjure, but something you are invited to receive.

My e-book, The Day I Was Remembered, has been live since December 22, 2025. It serves as the vital stepping stone in the foundation of the physics-based Mission forthcoming. While the book captured the frequency of my initial revelation, it was the necessary doorway into the deeper study of COSMOS SOMATICS and the universal constants we are exploring today.
